Cheap Sports Shop is a store within a store. Although both Cheap Sports and Oakville Sailboard & Ski sell used items on consignment, only Cheap Sports uses a unique pricing formula for consignment sales.

Cheap Sports prices go down automatically every month until the item is sold, or hits bottom at 25% of the starting price after eight months, while Oakville Sailboard & Ski consignment prices usually stay the same for about six months before they might be reduced.

If you have something to sell, give us a call or bring it in.  More than 95% of today's customers use credit or debit cards for their purchases and we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Debit Cards.  We are on a high traffic location with free customer parking behind the store and are open seven days a week, so we have a big advantage of selling your sports items for you, instead of you trying to sell them yourself. 

For Cheap Sports consignments, we take a commission of 25% of the starting price. The sale price is reduced by a little less than 10% each month until the item is sold or it reaches 25% percent of the starting price, which is our commission. 

Except for major items, the consignor is paid by cheque when all the items in the consignment are sold.  If we purchase items outright, our price is usually based on approximately 25% of the hopeful selling price.

Consignment items are listed on our web site. You can check and see if we still have them as they will be taken off the list when they are sold.

You can pick up unsold items anytime after 30 days. There is a $5 handling and pickup charge for small items and up to $25 for larger ones like complete sailboard packages.
