how to find or contact us
Here
are January, February and March 2008 prices for a few of our favorite Ski Resorts in the Alps
in Italy. Printed brochures are available from Ultimate Destinations travel agency in Oakville.
A ski trip to the
Alps in Europe can actually be less expensive than a trip to western Canada
and far less than to western U.S.A. But European ski resorts are so
popular, they can be sold out early. So it's best to book as soon as possible.
Prices shown are based on double[1] occupancy
priced in Canadian[2] dollars and include:
 |
Return Air Fare from Toronto (Prices from other cities available on request).
|
 |
7-night's Hotel
Accommodation, including Breakfast and Dinner at H/B hotels or only Breakfast at
B/B hotels.
|
 |
Hotel Service
charges.
|
 |
Tips. (They're included in the prices in Italy and shared by the
staff.)
|
 |
7 day car rental or Bus Transfer airport to hotel and return.
|
 |
6 day adult ski pass. (Seniors, childrens and other discounts
are
available).
|
 |
Depart Friday or Saturday suppertime, return Saturday or Sunday afternoon
(Or you can stay longer at the resort, other resorts or other
European destinations).
|
Not included: Lunches, airport taxes and surcharges.
(Taxes and surcharges change so often, contact us for up-to-date information.)
[1]
Additional cost for single room
(if available - book early to avoid disappointment) can be as low as $100 Canadian
extra for the 7-day period, depending on the class
of hotel and type of single rooms available. Contact us for single person
rates and/or reductions for additional
persons sharing a room, children etc.
[2] Estimated U.S. dollar prices for return Air
Fare from New York City, Boston or Washington or
other U.S. gateways and add-on prices for connections from other U.S. cities
available on request.

 |
Val di Fassa
has the most skiing you will ever find anywhere in the world. You can ski every day
for
weeks and never ski the same run twice. It is all cruising
on marked groomed runs, 85% with snow making. |
 |
Cortina
d'Ampezzo is the Aspen or St. Moritz of Italy, where the
rich and famous ski. Fabulous shops, great food and lots of fun. Join
the apres-ski parade every day from 4:30 to 6:00, then take a nap before
dinner at 8:00. |
 |
Cervinia
(also known as Breuil) under the Matterhorn, is the highest ski area in the Alps.
You can ski the same slopes with the folks from St. Moritz Switzerland (which
is a lot more expensive and the food in Cervinia is better) and there will be
lots of snow right to the end of April. |
 |
Courmayeur
is just up the valley from Cervinia under Mont Blanc. You can ski to
Chamonix France (but you have to return by taxi through the tunnel). Great
skiing, interesting runs, lively apres-ski. |
